Role Summary / Purpose

The Consumer Engagement Lifecycle Marketing role will be responsible for implementing strategies that drive increased cardholder activation and engagement for Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard® and Sun Country Visa Signature® Card. The individual will oversee existing cardholder lifecycle campaigns and manage complex marketing execution from end to end, working closely with other Lifecycle Marketing team members, portfolio marketing leaders, and cross‑functional teams.

This role will also lead critical growth initiatives such as retention and best‑customer efforts. Working with analytics, finance, legal, and performance marketing teams as well as external agencies, the candidate will manage campaign designs, develop and manage creative assets, execute campaigns, and track performance. The role requires expert knowledge of Workfront and confidence in the processes necessary to launch a campaign.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a variety of lifecycle efforts including incentives, benefit reinforcement, and retention, and confidently develop campaigns to reflect the desired strategy.
  • Lead marketing campaign strategy, design, and execution including program setup and tracking in Workfront, workbook development, audience segmentation review and approval oversight, creative development and execution, collateral management, legal reviews and revisions, and marketing services/outside agency management.
  • Deepen partnership with emerging SYF and vendor technology and platform refinements to fuel growth.
  • Lead the internal campaign review process and coordinate materials needed for each (e.g., legal, compliance, fair lending, marketing tollgate).
  • Lead oversight of campaign overview, tracking, and results documents.
  • Build strong relationships with the marketing leaders on the team and act as the right hand when it comes to issues management and campaign status updates.
  • Proactively identify and elevate issues.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or high school diploma/GED and 9+ years of digital and lifecycle marketing experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in digital platform management and/or marketing with a combination of web, email, and mobile experience, including the ability to create, manage, and deliver against large, interdependent project plans.
  • 3+ years of analytics experience with competency in analytic tools, dashboards, and tracking, including tracking code implementation.
  • Ability to travel as needed (~20%).
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
Desired Characteristics
  • Degree from an accredited university or college; preferably in business, marketing, or technology.
  • Consumer/digital first mentality.
  • Marketing experience preferably in co‑brand, digital, technology platform, direct marketing, credit card, or financial services.
  • Experience influencing organizations and other professionals.

Grade / Level: 11

Salary range for this position:
USD 90,000.00 – annually. The position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered will be based upon work experience, skill level, or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and provide fingerprints as part of the onboarding process.
  • Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4–7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
