Iron Oak is seeking a hands-on Social Media Manager who will own the growth, voice, and daily execution of the brand’s social presence while actively producing high-quality video and lifestyle content. This role is responsible for turning product moments, cultural conversations, and brand storytelling into compelling, platform-native content that expands reach, grows our audience, and strengthens Iron Oak’s cultural relevance.
This is a creator-first, execution-driven role designed for someone who thrives behind the camera, moves quickly from concept to publication, and understands how powerful content fuels modern brand growth.
What You’ll Do- Develop and manage monthly and quarterly social content calendars aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives
- Define recurring content themes, series, and storytelling formats that reinforce brand identity
- Identify cultural moments, holidays, and trend opportunities to drive timely social activations
- Capture, produce, and edit short-form social video, photography, and lifestyle content
- Translate brand campaigns and product launches into platform-native social content
- Create platform-native content optimized for Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, and emerging formats
- Own daily publishing, scheduling, and platform execution across priority social channels
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all social content
- Ensure all content aligns with broader marketing initiatives and campaign messaging
- Manage community engagement, including comments, DMs, and audience interaction
- Monitor brand mentions, audience sentiment, and conversation trends
- Identify opportunities to engage with creators, customers, and cultural conversations
- Track social KPIs, including reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth
- Analyze performance trends and provide insights to improve creative direction
- Partner with paid media teams to test, scale, and optimize high-performing creative
- Work closely with brand and performance teams to align social content with marketing priorities
- Support influencer, ambassador, and partnership campaigns with content creation and amplification
- Provide social-ready assets for paid media, website, and lifecycle marketing channels
- Proven experience producing high-performing social media content for lifestyle, apparel, or consumer brands
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile-first video storytelling and editing capability
- Deep understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, and evolving social platform algorithms
- Ability to move quickly from concept to execution in fast-paced environments
- Highly organized with strong planning, scheduling, and project management skills
- Passion for culture and outdoor lifestyle
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong creative instincts and attention to brand detail
You will play a foundational role in shaping the cultural voice of a fast-growing lifestyle brand, helping define how Iron Oak shows up in the world while building a scalable content engine that fuels brand awareness, community, and demand.
