About The OpportunityOur client, a leader in the Legal Operations and Contracts Community space, is looking for a skilled Community and Marketing Operations Contractor to join their team for a [Contract Duration] engagement. This project involves supporting day-to-day operations, driving member engagement, and managing marketing and content platforms for a fast-growing, sophisticated community of 25,000+ contracts professionals. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesThis role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Newsletter & Website Management:
Design, populate, test, and schedule weekly newsletters via Mailchimp, monitor engagement statistics, and coordinate with web developers to maintain the Word Press website, speed, and overall performance. - Marketing & Content Support:
Design marketing assets using Canva and Google Suite, develop marketing copy and social media campaign concepts, and manage sponsor campaign and ad placements on the newsletter and website. - Community Operations:
Respond to admin inbox inquiries within 24 hours, support member engagement and community management, and assist with Contract Nerds Community Council (CNCC) program coordination. - Online and In-Person Events:
Oversee and support all online webinars and in-person events, coordinating logistics and managing relationships with vendors and sponsors. - Innovation & Efficiency:
Research and implement AI solutions for common member inquiries, with bonus points for using AI tools and automations to work more efficiently.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Mid-level professional with proven experience managing communities and events, and a track record of successful marketing operations and content management.
- Deep expertise in essential platforms, including Canva, Google Docs/Slides, Mailchimp, Word Press, Zoom, Jotform, Notion, Linked In, and ChatGPT. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, with a self-starter mentality and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and technical problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control, with strong written communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
