Position: Summer Marketing & Communications Role
Spinal Cord Injury Ontario is seeking a motivated Marketing and Communications Assistant for a summer contract. This position offers remote working flexibility while engaging in impactful community service initiatives.

As a member of the SCIO team, you will enhance marketing and communication efforts aimed at supporting individuals impacted by spinal cord injuries. Responsibilities include database support, donor engagement, and event coordination, ideal for those passionate about philanthropy and community stories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate database updates and client communications

• Show appreciation to donors through outreach initiatives

• Generate and maintain lists of potential sponsors

• Assist in planning community events like Access Expos

• Create compelling content for social media and marketing

Requirements:

• Academic background in marketing or communications preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities

• Experience with MS Office, Adobe creative tools, and Word Press

• Eligible candidates must be between 15-30 years old in Canada
