Job Summary
The Product Marketing Specialist will partner with Product, Engineering, Solutions & B2B Marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches and own product-market positioning, documentation for merchant facing assets, product framework and messaging. The role will require you to be highly collaborative and work across-departments including marketing, product, sales, analytics, engineering, solutions, and merchant success. This role will influence product roadmaps and craft messaging to improve the effectiveness of marketing and sales efforts.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead cross-functional efforts to bring new features and products to market.
- (30%) - Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions in partnership with the B2B Marketing team, Product, and key stakeholders.
- (20%) - Conduct market research and gather qualitative feedback to understand retailer product and service evaluation.
- (15%) - Analyze the competitive landscape for market segmentation and opportunity sizing.
- (10%) - Collaborate on multi-channel GTM strategies and campaign messaging for new Bread Pay features.
- (15%) - Create compelling content for internal and external audiences.

- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years product marketing experience in a B2B startup, fintech, or SaaS environment; experience in B2B messaging and positioning; track record of executing GTM plans to drive product or feature adoption
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field of study
- Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or fintech space
- Demonstrated ability to build, launch and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies & campaigns that highlight key products and features
- Proficiency in analyzing strategy & campaign performance, interpreting KPIs, and translating insights into product and marketing enhancements
- Proven success coordinating and presenting cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams to align GTM efforts with broader business and product goals

Work Environment
- Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
