Post Graduate Public Relations Intern at SutherlandGold Group

We are currently looking for a Post Graduate PR Intern who can commit to a 6 month, full-time paid internship.
While this is a remote position, candidates must work in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nevada, or Washington
.

You will bring your enthusiasm for PR and start-ups, exceptional attitude, big brain and industriousness to the table and we will coach you through a PR boot camp during which you will learn the ins and outs of PR agency life.
Successful interns may be offered full-time employment based on performance and business need.

• Research
  • Research and compile materials for speaking and awards programs
  • Conduct daily news scans to keep internal team abreast of client, competitor and industry news; flag relevant articles/insights to teams for action
  • Conduct trend research and stay up-to-date on trending stories and thought leaders across client
  • Research reporters, blogs and social media sites; maintain and update lists
  • Adopt various AI tools to assist you in your work
• Media
  • Monitor client social channels and flag relevant news for amplification
  • Evaluate incoming podcast opportunities and make recommendations
  • Conduct social media audits and support client social platforms
  • Draft social copy with visuals as needed
  • Maintain media monitoring services
• Reporting
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate campaign performance analytics
  • Compile and update client coverage reports

• Bachelor’s Degree required; PR, Marketing or related field preferred
• Prior internship experience a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with the Public Relations or Social Media discipline through past work experience or coursework
• Experience using AI tools to assist you in your work
• Ability to navigate and master social media and social networking sites
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple daily deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and various AI tools;
  Sprout and Muck Rack experience a plus but not required
