Communications & Marketing Manager
Salary range: $55,000-$60,000

SEDA-COG is looking for a creative, motivated communicator to help tell our story and promote projects that strengthen communities across an 11-county region.
If you enjoy writing, social media, event planning, and working with a variety of teams, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in communications.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary media & legislative contact
- Prepare and send press releases
- Manage social media content, engagement, and scheduling
- Create marketing materials (flyers, newsletters, website content, etc.)
- Plan and coordinate events (ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, etc.)
- Collaborate with staff to highlight projects, programs, and success stories
- Help maintain and update website content
- Respond to public inquiries and support day-to-day communications needs (internal & external)
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, PR, or related field (or 5+ years of equivalent experience)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with social media and content creation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
- Photography, video, or graphic design skills
- Experience with events or public outreach
