Community Engagement Representative

This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Community Engagement Representative based in Sussex, VA, with flexibility for partial remote work. In this role, you will engage and build relationships with community members, organizations, and leaders to foster meaningful conversations about energy solutions. Responsibilities include planning and executing outreach activities, maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, addressing customer inquiries, supporting community‑driven programs, representing the organization at events, and collaborating with internal teams to align activities with broader strategic goals.

• Strong skills and experience in community engagement, community outreach, and building relationships
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience or aptitude in sales to promote and advocate for the organization's initiatives
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently, with a collaborative approach to team dynamics
• Flexibility to manage a hybrid work setup, including local travel for events and meetings
• Passion for promoting sustainable energy solutions and fostering constructive community relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is preferred
