Marketing Manager – Marketing Communications Growth (Lincoln, RI)
The Marketing Manager will create and execute product marketing strategies that drive acquisition, cross‑sell, upsell, and retention across prospect and customer life cycles. This role partners cross‑functionally with Product Development, Marketing Data Science, Media, Digital, and Brand & Creative teams to translate product objectives into integrated, data‑driven go‑to‑market plans, deliver personalized, high‑impact customer experiences, and ensure alignment on product positioning, audience strategy, and lifecycle engagement.
Responsibilities- Partner with Product Development, SCS, and other business lines to align on roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value, retention, product penetration, and growth; define cross‑sell and upsell triggers and audience strategies with SCS and Marketing Data Science.
- Oversee strategy, planning and execution of the Direct Mail program, including budget management.
- Collaborate with Marketing Data Science to optimize Direct Mail effectiveness, analyze performance, and run cross‑channel tests.
- Use marketing technology and data integrations to enable personalization, automation, and measurement; leverage AI to enhance program effectiveness.
- Coordinate Direct Mail, Email, and SMS programs with the Email Marketing Manager to align with audience, brand, product, and media strategy.
- Align customer experience across touchpoints with Digital teams.
- Develop product‑focused campaign strategy and execution with Product Development.
- Collaborate with the SCS team on policyholder cross‑sell and upsell strategy.
- Evaluate vendors and emerging technologies to inform strategy and optimization.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategic shifts, performance, and progress.
Hybrid schedule:
After training, work independently with three days in the Lincoln, RI office and two days working from home.

- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant marketing experience.
- Experience managing Direct Mail vendor partners (print facilities, USPS, etc.).
- Experience developing, executing, and analyzing Direct Mail as part of cross‑channel programs; familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Adobe, or similar.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience in product marketing campaign strategy and execution.
- Self‑motivated, high initiative, excellent follow‑up, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with agency partners, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Ability to manage, inspire, and lead direct reports.
