Job Overview

The Media Investment Buyer plays a key role in ensuring our clients’ ads reach core audiences through high‑quality, brand‑safe campaigns. The role is fully remote and requires strategic thinking, media buying expertise, and strong partner relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Research, vet, and execute media plans for large agency clients, ensuring efficient delivery via hands‑on management and team delegation.
  • Initiate opportunities for strategic expansion, optimization, and campaign growth, particularly for our largest, most complex accounts.
  • Contribute as a subject‑matter expert in one focused area of the TV/audio/programmatic landscape, facilitating team education and operational processes.
  • Oversee daily and higher‑level campaign delivery across channels, ensuring strategies are properly implemented, errors minimized, and goals achieved.
  • Interface with network partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth campaign execution, moderate problem solving, and innovative thinking.
  • Build and maintain reliable partner relationships, conduct educational meetings, provide media‑recommendation insights, and share knowledge with peers.
  • Negotiate media plans and costs, vet new offerings, assess media opportunities, and secure highly competitive costs and terms.
  • Lead moderately complex projects that enhance the Media Investment department’s processes and client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of media agency or publisher experience, focusing on media buying in linear TV, OTT, digital audio, and/or display advertising.
  • Proven track record of leveraging partner relationships and industry knowledge to negotiate and execute high‑value media opportunities.
  • Hands‑on experience with industry platforms (DSPs, research tools) and baseline knowledge of incrementality testing, cross‑channel measurement, and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to oversee process and QA of team deliverables.
  • Self‑motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn; strong strategic marketing and communication abilities to promote new media opportunities internally and with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, business writing, presentation skills, and time‑management to juggle multiple tasks against tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of data/audience collaboration tools such as Live Ramp and third‑party ad servers (e.g., Flash talking) is a plus.

  • Collaboration – work seamlessly with internal teams and external partners to drive success.
  • Time Management – manage multiple projects, deliver on schedule, and hold colleagues accountable.
Compensation & Salary

The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000–$95,000 plus a performance bonus of up to 10%.
