AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Director, Performance Marketing to join our team! This role will own and accelerate growth across paid media, lifecycle (email/SMS), and partnerships. In this highly visible role, you’ll translate business goals into high-performing omnichannel programs—driving measurable impact through smarter audience strategy, rigorous testing, and performance storytelling that turns data into action.
What You’ll Do:- Set the performance marketing strategy and lead execution across paid media, email/SMS, and partnerships to accelerate enterprise growth objectives.
- Own a significant paid media budget and maximize ROI by aligning spend to objectives and continuously optimizing for revenue impact (e.g., CPA, CPM, ROAS).
- Partner with external media agencies, guiding strategy, execution, and continuous testing to improve performance across channels and business lines.
- Build measurement that leadership can act on, including campaign and quarterly reporting, dashboards, and multi‑touch attribution approaches.
- Create seamless paid/owned customer journeys across audience segments and lifecycle stages.
- Scale lifecycle marketing across email and SMS, driving segmentation, personalization, engagement, and opt‑in growth across business lines.
- Build and scale a partnership marketing engine that expands awareness, reach, and lead generation; assess existing partners and onboard new partners based on ROI and strategic fit.
- Activate strategic relationships with major media partners (e.g., Google, Meta), ensuring strong alliances and driving innovation programs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (including Marketing Transformation) to align AdTech/Mar Tech tooling, data integrations, and the marketing data foundations required for future growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10–12+ years of experience in a media agency or brand environment handling paid media.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing multi‑channel marketing functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success improving ROI, driving lead generation, managing large budgets, and implementing measurement and attribution approaches.
- Experience collaborating effectively with external agencies and cross‑functional internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Deep expertise across performance channels (SEM, paid social, programmatic, video, display, affiliate) and A/B testing frameworks.
- Experience with modern marketing technology stacks, analytics, dashboards, and data‑driven decisioning.
- Hands‑on understanding of lifecycle marketing, including email/SMS platforms, segmentation, personalization, and CRM.
Marketing – Work from home or remote positions are available; primary residence must reside within the footprint that AAA Club Alliance Inc. operates. The club is located in Washington DC and 13 states including Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Virginia, and West Virginia.
