Manager, Content Marketing

This is a remote position open to candidates located within the United States.

Growth Marketing Pro, a hyper‑growth SEO, paid marketing, and growth marketing agency, is looking to hire a full‑time content manager to support our SEO and Content Marketing teams. We’re looking for someone who’s a strong content strategist and editor and an innovative thinker who enjoys solving problems and making an impact. If you love experimenting with content and SEO strategies, excel at project and time management, and enjoy collaborating with a remote team, this role could be for you.

Growth Marketing Pro started as a leading marketing blog and has since evolved into a marketing agency trusted by top companies like HiBob, Cube, and Consensus to drive real results. We’re growing like crazy and are looking to bring on an ambitious, detail‑oriented, full‑time person to help take our agency to the next level. This is an opportunity to help build an early‑stage startup into an industry‑leading growth marketing company.

The Content Manager will work alongside internal teams to execute SEO and content initiatives across a range of clients. This role will encompass everything from content updates, outlining, editing, and publishing content to conducting keyword research, writing metadata, drafting Reddit posts, and other ad hoc content or SEO projects. Strong attention to detail, communication, time management, and prioritization are must‑haves.

• Rigorously managing and executing client deliverables on time
• Working with internal GMP teams to deliver and optimize channel strategy
• Participating in client onboarding, calls, and relationship‑building
• Proactively communicating updates to clients and internal teams
• Straddling dual priorities across GMP’s internal content engine and client deliverables
• Implementing feedback and continuously learning

• ~40 hours a week, $60,000‑$80,000 per year

• 2-4 years experience with content and SEO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and syntax

Detail‑oriented with incredible organizational, prioritization, and project management skills

Ability to write in different tones and styles to match a specific brand voice and target audience

Understands content flow, heading structure, and has the ability to organize and format content logically

Can create optimized outlines, content, and meta data that will help articles and pages rank and convert

Ability to work independently (proactively) and as part of a team

Proficiency in Google Suite

Experience with SEO, content, web analytics tools and CMS platforms (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Wordpress), and AI/automation tools

Preferred: SEO, content, growth marketing background

Nice to have:
Experience in‑house at SaaS or technology companies, Reddit experience
