Contract Social Media SpecialistReporting to: EVP of Operations
Position OverviewWe are seeking a part-time contract Social Media Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone already working in the field who is looking for flexible, part-time work and has at least 2 years of hands-on experience in social media management and branding.
You will be responsible for scheduling daily posts on Linked In, Facebook, and Instagram, developing and executing social media campaigns, and using other strategies to drive engagement across all platforms. Your expertise in social media trends, content creation, and community management will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence, fostering meaningful connections with our audience, and driving business growth.

- Social Media Strategy:
Work alongside EVP of Operations to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing objectives, target audience, and brand identity. - Content Creation and Curation:
Using Canva to create graphics such as testimonials, job listings, and educational/informational postings for all social media platforms. Curate relevant and compelling content from various sources to supplement the content calendar. - Social Media Calendar Management:
Use Social Pilot to develop and maintain an organized content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule that aligns with marketing initiatives and seasonal events. - Community Management:
Monitor and engage with the online community by engaging with relevant posts and articles across all platforms, plus reposting our own content on FB stories. - Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance metrics regularly, providing insights into the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies and bringing that information back to the team in weekly Zoom meetings.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand-related work
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail, as there are several platforms and types of content to monitor and maintain
- Creative and drawn to aesthetics in order to make compelling, easy-to-read graphics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to juggle several tasks at once and meet deadlines
- This is a part-time position with 10 hours/week working from home anywhere in the US.
- This position is a 1099 contractor with no specified end date.
- Compensation: $25–29/hour
