Sr. Social Media Specialist at Global TekMed

Global Tek Med Holdings is a conglomerate of industry-leading businesses spanning multiple markets, including Sales, Marketing, IT, Management, Accounting, Wellness and more. Our primary focus is creating B2B and B2C products and services supporting the military veteran community.

The Senior Social Media Specialist is a full‑time position within our Marketing Department. This role is responsible for developing and executing high‑performing social media strategies across all major platforms, including content creation, campaign execution, audience growth, engagement, design, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven, with strong experience managing multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously. A strong understanding of the military and Veteran demographic is a plus.

• Develop, manage, and execute social media strategies across all brand platforms.
• Create, schedule, and publish high‑converting content including reels, posts, stories, and short‑form video.
• Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness through consistent content and community management.
• Manage and optimize campaign performance using platform analytics and reporting tools.
• Oversee freelancers or content contributors as needed.
• Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual standards across platforms.
• Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging formats.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency.
• Deep understanding of social platforms and trends, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, X (Twitter), Linked In, You Tube, and others.
• Strong visual eye for graphics, photography, video, and short‑form content.
• Proven ability to grow audiences and engagement organically.
• Strong copywriting skills optimized for social platforms.
• Experience with paid social media platforms including Meta and Tik Tok a plus.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and short‑form video editing tools.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and optimization.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in fast‑paced environments.
• Self‑directed, highly organized, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a strong willingness to test, learn, and adapt.

Degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred but not required. Experience with lead generation and conversion‑driven social campaigns. Military or Veteran familiarity strongly preferred. Understanding of military culture and messaging is a major bonus.
