Marketing Communications, Client Relationship Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Account Supervisor (AS) to join The TASC Group and support our agency’s mission-driven work for nonprofit and issue advocacy clients.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in public relations and communications, and demonstrate the ability to lead client relationships and client teams.
A genuine passion for public service, a commitment to working with nonprofits and a desire to contribute to mission-based initiatives and companies are essential.
The AS serves as the client’s main point of contact, building trust and advising the client, especially in crisis scenarios. They should proactively drive planning and strategy sessions, and anticipate the needs of the clients. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
A successful AS will be responsible for maintaining client account productivity and ensure the quality of deliverables to the client. While working closely with senior leadership, the AS will have opportunities to grow their own leadership and client account management skills, and also participate in mentoring junior members of the team.
Responsibilities- Serve as a leader within client teams, maintaining regular client communications with a firm understanding of the client’s goals and expectations
- Drive long- and short-term strategic communications plans that meets client objectives
- Lead client calls and meetings
- Support and execute crisis scenarios for clients
- Participate in internal marketing and new business efforts, including drafting new business proposals and case studies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns
- 7-10 years of relevant PR and communications experience. Agency experience preferred; digital and social media experience is a plus but not required
- A genuine passion for public service and a commitment to working with nonprofits and mission-based initiatives
- Be a media relations expert with a strong network of media contacts
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Compensation range: $95, + performance-based bonuses throughout the year
