Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant is an entry‑level role that supports the creation and refinement of packaging designs, owner’s manuals, and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite. The position requires a detail‑oriented, proactive individual who can follow instructions accurately while contributing to high‑quality, on‑brand visual materials.

Responsibilities
  • Create and update packaging designs within large, complex design files using Adobe design tools.
  • Format and refine owner’s manuals and digital assets based on established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Make minor design adjustments and content updates while maintaining accuracy and consistency across all materials.
  • Follow detailed instructions to ensure all designs meet quality standards and do not contain errors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to support advertising, public relations, and corporate communication materials.
  • Organize, manage, and update digital assets to ensure files are properly labeled, stored, and easy to locate.
  • Provide administrative support related to design projects, such as preparing files for review, export, or distribution.
  • Take initiative in identifying tasks, addressing design issues, and proposing improvements without waiting for direct instruction.
  • Review and proof designs carefully to maintain high standards of accuracy, layout, and visual consistency.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding project status, timelines, and any issues encountered.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated design ability through a strong, relevant portfolio.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing error‑free designs.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing large design files and multiple digital assets.
  • Proactive, forward‑thinking approach with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Effective communication skills to support marketing communications, advertising, public relations, and corporate communication projects.
  • Ability to provide administrative support related to design and digital asset management.
  • Degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience supporting marketing communications or advertising campaigns.
  • Exposure to public relations or corporate communication environments.
  • Familiarity with digital asset organization and management.

Work Environment

The role follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work with on‑site days in a corporate office. When on-site, the assistant works in a cubicle within a professional corporate environment, collaborating with marketing and communications teams.

Job Type & Location

Contract position based out of Cordova, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $20.00 per hour.
