Salary Range: $99,000 - $110,000 per year

This position is a hybrid in‑office role that works out of our Boston HQ (Monday‑Thursday will be working in office and Friday is work from home). This is not a virtual / remote position.

The Promotions organization drives Wayfair's promotional strategy across our and physical retail businesses in the U.S. and Canada. The team sits within Wayfair's Marketing organization and partners cross‑functionally to bring compelling, data‑driven promotional experiences to life for customers via 360 omni‑channel campaigns. The WFNA Promotions team owns the promotional campaign calendar and go‑to‑market strategy for major promotional moments and everyday value offers, overseeing strategy, testing, execution, and performance analysis for all WFNA promotions.
In this role, you will own the marketing and creative strategy across our total promotions business (US and CA) and our physical retail fleet. You will ensure promotional campaigns meet business objectives, are tailored to key audiences (e.g., Physical Retail, Canada, Loyalty Members), and can scale across a growing fleet of retail stores as we move toward personalization. You will partner closely with Media Planning to optimize spend across the funnel for our largest promotions and collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Creative Operations, and Physical Retail teams to continuously test, learn, and evolve our promotional strategy.
You'll lead a small but mighty team (two direct reports within a team of 34) that brings innovative campaigns to life, balancing customer excitement with business impact.
- Own end-to-end promotional campaign strategy, creation, and deployment across WFNA promotions (US and CA) and physical retail.
- Define campaign duration, calendar sequencing, creative lock‑ups, "loudness," and core campaign inputs (sale name, value proposition, messaging hierarchy for US, CA, and Retail).
- Develop integrated marketing channel plans for each campaign and ensure media plans meet campaign objectives by phase and are tied to expected business outcomes for the most impactful campaigns.
- Account for audience and channel nuances across messaging, promotional offers, creative, and plans for high commercial priorities (e.g., Loyalty, Retail, International).
- Own how promotional offers show up in our retail stores, including in‑store signage and supporting marketing materials.
- Partner with Tech, Creative, and Retail teams to build automated solutions that enable us to scale to 10x the current number of stores and move toward a personalized promotional experience.
- Drive innovation through testing and insights, continuously optimizing for engagement, conversion, and profitability, including building out a Doorbuster program for Retail and adapting promotional calendar for Retail.
- Ensure all campaigns are executed with excellence across marketing channels, Wayfair-owned tools, and in-store touchpoints.
- Partner with Promo Analytics, Media Planning, and channel leads to analyze performance, extract insights, and evolve both current and future strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, Physical Retail, and Analytics teams to deliver cohesive, customer‑first promotions.
- 5+ years of experience in promotions, merchandising, marketing, or eCommerce strategy; retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations while influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
