Marketing Manager, GTM

Role

As a Country Marketing Manager at Whatnot, you will drive hyper‑growth and support sellers across various categories, such as beauty and trading cards. You will develop and execute marketing plans focused on customer acquisition and retention, including digital events, influencer activations, and content collaborations.

• Own buyer acquisition across priority categories in Canada, devising campaigns and events that generate buzz and drive demand.
• Identify and pursue PR and influencer opportunities in the local market across categories.
• Develop and execute social media strategy for your market's categories across multiple channels and platforms.
• Build scalable resources and toolkits to help sellers better market their channels and grow audiences.
• Measure and iterate on the effectiveness of category marketing initiatives.

We’re looking for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

• 6+ years of marketing experience in a growth‑focused setting, preferably in a startup, marketplace, or creator‑platform.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to own strategy and content across multiple marketing channels.
• A creative thinker with experience in content creation and copywriting.
• Experience tracking KPIs and monitoring success for marketing programs.
• Ability to work with limited guidance and pivot quickly as needed.

• Graphic design and video editing experience (e.g., Creative Suite, Figma).
• Passion for creator communities and specific Whatnot product categories.
• Experience buying and selling in online marketplaces.

Compensation Range: $149K - $165K
