The Addison County, Vermont Chamber of Commerce is seeking a talented Outreach and Relocation Coordinator to join our Imagine Addison County program. The Outreach and Relocation Coordinator’s responsibilities include outreach, recruitment, retention, and communication with individuals looking to relocate to, or who have recently relocated to, Addison County. Essential duties include acting as a liaison with the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, providing updated information for leads, community support and employer referrals.
Other responsibilities include developing and managing events designed to help new residents feel welcome in their new community. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and is made available through a grant from the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing for a two-year period (2026/2027) with an expectation of renewal in 2028. This grant program in Addison County is managed jointly with the Addison County Economic Development Corporation and the Chamber of Commerce.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communicator who enjoys connecting with people.
- Ability to foster, grow and maintain community relationships including employers, real estate professionals, school districts and more.
- Digital marketing including proficiency with social media channels Facebook, Instagram and X. Experience using Canva and Constant Contact. Blog experience a plus.
- Project management and event coordination.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 1-3 years’ relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Salary up to $44,000/year.
