Paid Search Strategist Responsibilities
  • Client-Centric Designs - Develop strategies anchored to client P&L, market dynamics, and the customer journey; frame trade‑offs and options, build trusted relationships with stakeholders, and align multi‑channel moments to brand and ecommerce outcomes.
  • Product-Led - Apply platform capabilities (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360/Skai), feed management, and AI features to improve efficiency and outcomes; use Bliss Point’s cross‑channel and single‑channel views to inform optimization and growth hypotheses and contribute structured feedback to improve models and features.
  • Data & Measurement-Driven - Translate complex datasets into actionable insights; propose statistically sound tests with defined success criteria; ensure data quality (tagging, feeds, tracking) and explain data structure implications.
  • The Tinuiti Way - Demonstrate deep Paid Search and Shopping expertise, connect measurement strategy to growth, educate clients and internal teams, and codify learnings and playbooks that scale.
  • Owner Mindset - Operate with accountability and bias to action; spot and eliminate process and media waste; influence without authority; close the loop from decision to measurable outcome.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years managing Paid Search/Shopping at scale ($200k+/mo) with end‑to‑end ownership.
  • Platform fluency:
    Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Merchant Center; feed management (e.g., Feedonomics); competitive tooling (Auction Insights, Adalysis/Adthena/Spy Fu); campaign management (SA360, Skai); comfort with scripts/automation.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets/PPT/Google Slides skills.
  • Certifications:

    Google Search & Shopping (or completed within first 60 days). Additional Google certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced analytics skills: experimentation, forecasting, and ability to quantify financial impact.
  • Senior stakeholder‑ready storytelling; influence across functions; client‑facing presence.
  • Mentorship experience coaching juniors/peers (non‑manager).
Key Performance Indicators & Expectations
  • Efficient growth: improve profitability and/or scale revenue while protecting efficiency KPIs.
  • Waste reduction: reduce non‑converting spend and operational rework; improve feed/tagging fidelity.
  • Product/AI adoption: pilot and scale capabilities (e.g., value‑based bidding, PMax, Bliss Point insights) with documented impact.
  • Experimentation: execute a balanced test roadmap (conversion, incrementality, creative, audience/offer) with clear success criteria and learnings.
  • Data quality: maintain high standards for tagging, feeds, and integrations; proactively resolve issues.
  • Client experience: deliver on‑time, high‑quality reporting, QBRs, and recommendations that build trust and drive decisions.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $90,000 – $100,000.
  • Incentive pay:
    Rev Share program (monthly variable revenue payment) and discretionary annual performance bonus.
