Job Title
Google Ads PPC Specialist (Remote Contractor)
LocationRemote (Working directly with a US-based home services company, on US Pacific time). Job Type: Remote contract, (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time), Monday through Friday. Long-term role for the right person.
Job Summary- We need a PPC expert to manage and improve those ad accounts.
- You should be able to tell a real lead from a junk one.
- This is hands‑on account work. The goal is simple: bring in good leads at a fair cost and keep the tracking clean.
- You'll work directly with our marketing lead, focused on paid search.
- We run Google Ads for home repair and handyman services in several US markets.
- Compare ad spend against closed jobs to judge lead quality.
- Report results in plain language with clear next steps.
- Confirm what is and isn't counting as a real conversion.
- Manage Google Ads across multiple accounts.
- Set and check geo and ZIP targeting for each market, including areas to leave out.
- Research keywords, review search terms, and keep negative keyword lists clean.
- Create and test responsive search ads with a strong mix of headlines.
- Check GTM. Handle offline conversion uploads.
- Build and optimize campaigns to get the most leads at the lowest cost.
- Manage ad spend against monthly budgets for each account.
- Keep campaign assets up to date: sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets, call assets, images and promotions.
- Own conversion tracking. Make sure each account fires its own tags. Manage call tracking (Call Rail).
- Available to work US Pacific time office hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT), Monday through Friday.
- Self‑managing.
- Conversion tracking experience: GTM, call tracking (Call Rail or similar), conversion actions, and offline uploads.
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Comfort setting up local and geo targeting.
- Hands‑on experience running multiple Google Ads accounts for US home services lead generation.
- Able to work on your own or within a small team.
- Experience managing accounts across many locations or franchise markets.
