This could be a remote position.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Affiliate Marketing Director to lead, scale, and optimize our school partnership and student ambassador programs. This is a high-impact, 100% performance-based role designed for a seasoned marketer who thrives in a "pay-for-performance" environment. You will own the end-to-end strategy, from identifying and recruiting high-value school partners to managing a network of student ambassadors, with the primary goal of driving student acquisition and revenue growth.
PrimaryObjectives
- Strategic Growth:
Develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate strategy to drive measurable revenue and new student enrollment - Network Expansion:
Identify, recruit, and onboard high-quality school partners and student ambassadors that align with our brand values - Program Optimization:
Continually analyze performance metrics to refine commission structures and promotional tactics for maximum ROI
- Recruitment & Outreach:
Proactively identify and recruit potential school partners and student influencers through networking, outreach, and relationship building - Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for affiliates, providing them with the necessary training, resources, and promotional materials to succeed - Contract & Commission Management:
Negotiate and finalize affiliate agreements, ensuring clear terms, competitive commission structures, and profitability - Campaign Execution:
Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling marketing materials tailored for student and educational audiences - Performance Tracking:
Monitor affiliate activity and compliance daily, using data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Reporting:
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program performance, key metrics, and growth initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:
2+ years of demonstrable experience in affiliate marketing, partnership management, or performance marketing, preferably within the education or e-commerce sectors - Analytical Mindset:
Ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights to optimize conversion rates and ROI - Negotiation
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to secure high‑value partnerships and manage diverse affiliate relationships - Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms, CRM tools (like Hub Spot), and analytics software (like Google Analytics) - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Owner’s Mindset: A self‑starter who is motivated by driving results and is comfortable with a compensation model tied directly to performance
- Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of the educational landscape and the unique motivations of student ambassadors. - Compliance Awareness:
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to affiliate marketing and student data privacy
This is a performance-based (commission-only) position.
- Commission: A highly competitive percentage of revenue or a fixed fee for every qualified lead/enrollment generated through your managed programs.
