Job Responsibilities
- Managing the day‑to‑day of sponsorship‑based marketing (RFP process) and ensuring that AMC’s value proposition and brand voice is infused through all sponsorship initiatives.
- Managing the sponsorship fulfillment process, including detailed communication between key internal teams and external client/agency reps in a timely manner.
- Proactively identifying new ways to monetize the network and creating the tools necessary for the sales team to do so.
- Creating tools that establish an ongoing dialogue with the sales marketplace (promotions, stunts, email blasts, one‑sheets, decks).
- Representing the AMC brand and integrated marketing team in key client proposal meetings.
- Creating multi‑platform sponsorship proposals that meet client campaign goals and enhance AMC’s ongoing programming and brand initiatives.
- Serving as brand ambassador, ensuring that all pitches filter through AMC’s brand filter.
- Acting as a liaison between sales and other departments at the channel (production, original programming, marketing, scheduling, digital, social media).
- Coordinating the execution and fulfillment of sold branded entertainment deals across all platforms, including in‑show product integration, customized on‑air marketing elements, oversight of production shoots, on‑ground brand activations and customized social media campaigns.
- Proactively seeking new ways to monetize the network on‑air, online and on‑ground and developing the materials that empower the sales force to sell them.
- Accompanying the sales team on pitch meetings to represent AMC marketing and creatively speak to custom proposals.
- Creating, managing and disseminating the library of sales materials: one‑sheets, decks and premiums.
- Developing production requests, creative briefs, design and maintaining production schedules, managing the production process to ensure deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Managing AMC’s on‑air inventory to ensure that upcoming unsold opportunities are communicated to the sales team.
- Managing sponsor presence at AMC events.
- Obtaining approvals on all sponsor creative from the client and working with marketing/creative teams to determine production costs and track cost per sale.
- Managing deadlines on production/creative/client approval and overseeing branded entertainment productions on behalf of sales.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Base knowledge of media sales preferred.
- Heavy PowerPoint and Photoshop skills a must.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and high collaboration.
- Project management ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including clear communication with a diverse group.
- Digital/social media experience required.
- Clear understanding of the importance of client service.
- High level of energy and commitment.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate fresh ideas/concepts.
- Ability to work with internal divisions and external contacts/vendors under tight deadlines.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to understand, interpret and communicate clear business objectives.
- Knowledge of television production required.
- Social media savvy, digital content knowledge.
- Strong business and creative writing skills.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills, mastering PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
The base compensation for this position is $80,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience.
