Senior Client Director
The Senior Client Director supports associations and foundations in defining and implementing their communication and fundraising strategies.
As a true advisory partner, he or she ensures the quality of support, the relevance of recommendations, client satisfaction, and portfolio development.
At the interface between clients and Orixa expertise, he or she transforms communication, brand, mobilization, and fundraising challenges into coherent, creative, and effective strategies and campaigns.
The position is based on four pillars:
- Strategic advice in communication and fundraising;
- Client satisfaction and retention;
- Development of revenue and margin;
- Coordination of internal expertise.
Strategic Advice in Communication and Fundraising
- Understand the communication, reputation, mobilization, and fundraising challenges of your clients and translate them into coherent and effective strategies;
- Support the communication, marketing, and resource development departments in their strategic decision-making;
- Develop recommendations combining brand, creation, media, digital, data, and performance;
- Lead major fundraising high points (end of year, IFI, emergencies, acquisition, loyalty, reactivation) while ensuring the consistency of messages, donor journeys, and media devices;
- Analyze performance and formulate continuous optimization recommendations.
Leadership of Creation and Campaigns
Translate client challenges into clear and actionable strategic and creative briefs;
- Work closely with creative teams throughout the process, from idea to deliverable;
- Participate actively in the reflection on concepts, messages, and brand territories;
- Present and defend recommendations to clients, ensuring coherence and quality across all channels.
Portfolio Management and Development
- Manage and retain a portfolio of associations and foundations by establishing a lasting relationship of trust;
- Identify client needs, anticipate dissatisfaction risks, and ensure the quality of deliverables and account follow-up;
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and lead the development of revenue and margin;
- Build and defend commercial proposals, budgets, and fees; participate in tenders and prospect meetings.
Economic Leadership and Coordination
Monitor the revenue, margin, and profitability of your portfolio and anticipate discrepancies to propose corrective actions;
- Coordinate internal expertise (creation, media, SEA, Social Ads, SEO/GEO, data, programmatic, etc.) while ensuring respect for schedules, budgets, and commitments;
- Ensure administrative follow-up of accounts: contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, and renewals;
- Support the skill development of junior team members.
Contribution to the Visibility of Alto (Fundraising Division of Orixa)
- Represent Alto at events and professional meetings;
- Contribute to agency content, case studies, conferences, and speaking engagements;
- Participate actively in commercial development and partnerships within the associative ecosystem.
- Higher education degree Bac +5 in communication, advertising, marketing, commerce, or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of experience in a communication, creative, media, or digital agency;
- Proven experience in advising, managing, and developing a client portfolio;
- Strong knowledge of communication, branding, creation, and media;
- Good understanding of fundraising mechanisms, donor journeys, and acquisition, loyalty, and reactivation issues;
- Ability to articulate brand, communication, media, and fundraising performance issues;
- Mastery of budget, margin, and profitability management;
- Excellent writing, commercial, and presentation skills;
- Fluent English, both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of the associative sector, foundations, or the social and solidarity economy is indispensable.
