Marketing Coordinator, Brand Development

This position focuses on supporting the execution of marketing plans aligned with Better Homes & Gardens priority products and the Walmart marketing calendar, ensuring campaign deliverables are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Support development and execution of monthly marketing plans aligned with Better Homes & Gardens priority products and Walmart marketing calendar.
  • Coordinate digital, social, newsletter, commerce and print marketing deliverables across internal teams.
  • Assist with trafficking creative assets, timelines and approvals for marketing campaigns.
  • Support Walmart Connect and paid media initiatives through campaign setup, asset organization and reporting coordination.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services and editorial teams to ensure marketing materials are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, project trackers and marketing documentation.
  • Assist with monthly marketing reporting and recap materials for internal and client-facing use.
  • Compile campaign performance metrics across print, digital, social and commerce initiatives.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and reporting dashboards to track marketing activity and campaign delivery.
  • Support organization of presentations, marketing recaps and status updates.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews for newsletters, social posts and marketing content.
  • Partner with internal teams (revenue operations, research & insights, account strategy and production) to support campaign execution.
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and documentation for marketing operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and campaign planning discussions.
Working Arrangement

Hybrid: on‑site 3 days a week in Des Moines, Iowa. Remote work allowed up to 2 days per week.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of marketing, media, advertising, retail or internship experience.
  • Experience supporting cross‑functional marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Internship experience in publishing, media, retail or agency environments considered a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media, digital marketing and content marketing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Experience with Airtable, project management tools or reporting platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
