Position Overview

The Advertiser Account Manager is a mission‑critical role, focused on growing relationships and campaigns across advertiser clients who partner with Interest Media. This person will be responsible for building a deep understanding of Interest Media’s products and leveraging our data capabilities to help advertisers acquire leads and customers at scale while achieving key quality goals and metrics for each advertiser partner we support.

The Account Manager will be tasked with managing a book of business and building relationships with our client base, while continually exploring and uncovering the business needs of your clients and understanding how our offerings can support and grow their business. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, both analytical & creative, and has a knack for focusing on and pursuing growth opportunities.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Managing a large book of business and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing advertisers. This includes being the day‑to‑day lead for all communication with clients including client onboarding, campaign launch, monitoring & updating budgets, creative & targeting recommendations, monitoring campaign performance, making campaign optimizations, pacing reports, client meetings, overall growth and scale initiatives.
  • Having a thorough understanding of advertiser KPIs and working with the advertisers to get performance reports and/or feedback.
  • Effectively communicate KPIs internally and work closely with Analytics & Operations to optimize campaigns based on advertiser reports & feedback.
  • Prepare and present formal business reviews to top clients.
  • Proactively reaching out to advertisers to find opportunities for scaling campaigns and growing partnerships. This includes budget increases, payout increases, new/additional campaigns, cross‑selling into other Interest Media channels, upselling additional audience segments, etc.
  • Responsible for overseeing monthly billable numbers to finance for invoicing.
Candidate Requirements
  • 2‑4 years of experience in an Account Management or Sales role, preferably in performance marketing, lead generation or affiliate marketing
  • Strong relationship management track record
  • Extremely organized and meticulous, with the ability to manage many campaigns simultaneously
  • Has experience analyzing performance reports looking at conversion rates, CPA, CPL, CPC, disposition reports, and other common performance marketing & lead generation KPIs
  • Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, data visualization, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
  • Strong math/analytical skills
  • Excellent interpretive skills, allowing the candidate to understand and make recommendations to amplify the business
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
