Position: ADS SPECIALIST (100% Remote outside of Canada)

Wishpond Technologies currently has the position of Ads Specialist available, and we’re excited to tell you about it!

OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a full‑time Ads Specialist to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and optimization of paid media campaigns across a portfolio of SMB clients. This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world.

This role is ideal for someone who has hands‑on experience managing paid advertising campaigns across major digital platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Linked In Ads, and other paid media channels. The successful candidate should be data‑driven, detail‑oriented, comfortable working across multiple client accounts, and able to use AI tools to improve campaign performance, reporting, and workflow efficiency.

In collaboration with the Account Management Team, creative teams, and other cross‑functional departments, the Ads Specialist will help deliver effective paid media campaigns that support client goals and contribute to the success of Wishpond Technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up, manage, monitor, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Linked In Ads, and other relevant advertising channels.
  • Support the execution of paid media strategies for a portfolio of SMB clients.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience research, competitor research, and platform‑specific campaign planning.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily or weekly, depending on client needs and budget structures.
  • Review key performance metrics, including impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, conversions, CPA, ROAS, and overall campaign efficiency.
  • Make data‑informed optimization decisions related to budgets, bids, targeting, placements, audiences, keywords, ad copy, and creative assets.
  • Assist with transitioning and managing accounts from daily to monthly budget strategies where appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for campaign improvement, including new audiences, creative tests, landing page recommendations, and platform‑specific optimizations.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, copywriters, designers, and other internal teams to ensure campaigns align with client goals and marketing strategies.
  • Provide clear campaign updates, performance insights, and recommendations to internal teams.
  • Support client communication when needed by answering campaign‑related questions or providing performance context.
  • Use AI tools to support campaign research, ad copy ideation, reporting, optimization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with platform updates, paid media trends, AI tools, and digital advertising best practices.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy when building campaigns, reviewing budgets, tracking conversions, and reporting on performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2–4 years of experience in Paid Media, Digital Advertising, Performance Marketing, or a similar role, preferably in an agency or SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Working knowledge of additional paid media platforms such as Linked In Ads, Tik Tok Ads, Microsoft Ads, You Tube Ads, or other major advertising channels is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of campaign objectives, audience targeting, keyword strategy, bidding strategies, budget pacing, conversion tracking, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, platform dashboards, or similar tools.
  • Ability to analyze campaign data, identify trends, and recommend practical next steps.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts, campaigns, and budgets at the same time.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to use them responsibly to support research, reporting, campaign planning, creative ideation, and performance analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with budgets, tracking, campaign settings, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain campaign performance and recommendations clearly.
