Product Marketing Manager Remote

About the Role

This key role is within Symetra's Corporate Marketing Department and Individual Life Division. You will create compelling marketing materials and campaigns designed to drive life insurance sales through brokerage general agencies, independent marketing organizations, and network marketing organizations.

• Serve as the lead copywriter for the development of print and online collateral materials.
• Work with Brand Development for copy editing, design, and print production of collateral materials.
• Create and execute product-specific and needs-based marketing campaigns to increase sales across channels.
• Build and implement communication plans for new products and product enhancements.
• Track, analyze and report on results of marketing programs and campaigns.

Salary Range: $106,400 - $177,300 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in the development of marketing materials and campaigns within the insurance industry.
• Advanced life insurance knowledge with a strong understanding of sales processes and various target distribution markets.
• Adept writing and communication skills, proficient in copywriting and editing.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Strong marketing data analysis skills.
• Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
• Experience using project management software is helpful.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Adaptable, flexible, and an excellent multitasker.
