UMGC seeks a part-time Marketing Assistant/Specialist in the Office of Marketing. This is a part-time, freelance position. The role may require remote work up to 19 hours per week, with occasional in-person work at UMGC s headquarters in Adelphi, MD.

• Assists in the execution of digital and traditional marketing materials, ensuring assets are accurate and on brand.
• Supports the development and coordination of organic social media content, including ideation and creation.
• Creates and maintains internal and external stakeholder reports, presentations, archives, audits, and performs other administrative duties as directed.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field
• Relevant marketing experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Advertising/Marketing Agency experience preferred
• Experience in Canva is required
• Experience with Workfront and Sprout Social is a plus
