The Vice President of Marketing & Communications, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, will shape and execute Availity’s modern, data‑driven marketing and communications strategy to accelerate growth, strengthen category leadership, and deliver measurable business impact. This leader will transform marketing into a true growth engine powered by data, intelligent automation, and deep customer insight.

• Define and lead an integrated, enterprise‑wide marketing and communications strategy aligned to growth objectives and value creation.
• Translate business priorities into clear, executable roadmaps with defined ownership, outcomes, and ROI.
• Position Availity as a category leader through differentiated positioning, thought leadership, and market‑shaping narratives.
• Lead omnichannel engagement with high‑quality content creation, leveraging modern formats such as video and social, to ensure Availity is consistently discovered, understood, and trusted.
• Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced marketing technologies to increase productivity, personalization, and speed‑to‑market.
• Build a test‑and‑learn culture and continuously improve outcomes through experimentation, predictive insights, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure marketing operations are data‑driven, adaptive, and future‑ready, establishing a rigorous operating system with metrics, dashboards, and performance visibility.
• Design high‑impact engagement strategies, including events and experiences, to drive pipeline velocity and deepen relationships.
• Oversee end‑to‑end strategy and execution across marketing, partnering with the Go‑to‑Market team for positioning, messaging, and brand experience.
• Serve as a strategic advisor on corporate communications, public relations, and executive messaging, owning crisis management and ensuring clear, coordinated communication.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing team, fostering ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement while prioritizing talent development and succession planning.
• Partner with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with enterprise priorities and serve as a trusted advisor across cross‑functional teams.

• 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including executive roles.
• Proven success driving measurable growth in complex environments.
• Expertise across product marketing, digital, brand, and communications.
• Demonstrated ability to build AI‑enabled, high‑performing marketing organizations.
• Strong track record of leading transformation, scaling teams, and improving operational efficiency.
• Strong executive presence with experience influencing senior stakeholders and boards.
• Well‑versed in evolving marketing trends and competitive strategies in the technology landscape.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end product lifecycle and alignment to go‑to‑market success.
• In‑depth knowledge of market intelligence and competitive positioning.
• Healthcare industry exposure preferred.
• Proven track record unlocking greater market recognition through stronger positioning and differentiation.
• Experience modernizing marketing through AI, automation, and data.
