Growth Marketing Intern — Campus & Remote

Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals that AI will soon unleash, such as mass job displacement, negative health impacts, and an increase in mental illnesses. We are currently in stealth mode, but we plan to be a dominant AI company when we launch in Fall 2026.

Job Title: Sales & Marketing (Growth) Intern

Location: Remote, meeting in person with your campus team to connect with student leaders at your school

Schedule: ~5 hours per week (super flexible, some weeks more, some less) and a minimum 2-month commitment

Compensation: Unpaid

Starbeam is hiring Sales and Marketing Interns to help launch our free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses. Soft launch in Summer 2026, full rollout in Fall 2026. After that, interns will support the rollout of our enterprise AI services to mid-sized and large businesses.

During launch, some interns focus on campus outreach and partnerships. Others lead content creation. Both tracks are welcome. After the growth phase, you'll serve as Starbeam's campus ambassador, customer success rep, or both, supporting users and representing the brand at your school.

You'll join a national network of Starbeam interns launching the app together. At larger schools, interns form a small campus GTM team, combining outreach and content to drive signups.

• Create and customize sales presentations and scripts using AI tools.
• Identify influencers and leaders through web research and social media.
• Populate and manage CRM databases and prospect profiles.
• Utilize warm and cold outreach strategies to build and maintain relationships with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers.
• Represent Starbeam through content creation, including short-form video, social media posts, and written features in your school newspaper or campus media.
• Write articles and online content about Starbeam so the brand surfaces when people search AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
• Take free online courses to become certified in AI tools and Hub Spot sales and marketing.
• Valuable exposure to marketing, sales, and the business development process.

• A current college student majoring in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related fields. Exemptions will be made for high school students who demonstrate extraordinary interest.
• Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours/week.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, without relying on AI.
• Strong interpersonal skills and love to make new friends and grow a professional network.
• Interested in sales and marketing as a possible career.
