The Sponsorship team drives the success of Roku's cutting‑edge activations. The team handles complex trafficking, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of all sponsorship products across diverse platforms. Members work closely with Client Services and Product Marketing to launch new and existing products and packages, gaining exposure to brand‑new executions that meet customer objectives.
About the roleRoku is seeking an Ad Operations Associate to join the Sponsorship team. In this role you will facilitate the launch and delivery of campaigns, ensuring compliance with standard processes and quality assurance practices. The position is highly cross‑functional and uses both 3rd‑party and proprietary platforms to traffic custom, complex executions across the Roku ecosystem.
What you'll be doing- Build and launch custom ad experiences using proprietary toolsets and technical systems
- Act as a liaison between Brand Activation Managers, Client Services, Product, Engineering, and Technical Operations teams using clear, consistent communication
- Steward discussions with Client Services and Brand Activation Managers to ensure seamless campaign launches
- Contribute ideas to enhance proprietary tools and systems, improving productivity and team effectiveness
- Collaborate with Senior Ad Operations peers to support rollout of Custom Ad Experiences and new Ad Products
- Manage, launch, and QA high‑profile, time‑sensitive campaign launches
- Use 3rd‑party tools to verify that creatives meet advertising specifications
- Consult with Product Managers and Engineering to evaluate the technical feasibility of new launch tactics
- Identify technical issues that require escalation and take initiative to do so
- 2–3 years of experience in digital ad operations or QA at a publisher, ad‑tech company, agency, or ad network
- Expertise with GAM and digital ad‑serving tools for video and display
- Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time‑management skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Proactive, process‑oriented mindset with adherence to standards
- Ambitious self‑starter who enjoys challenges and continuous learning
- Understanding of digital advertising campaign management, including strategies, tactics, and execution (ad‑serving and pixels)
- Analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot setup and delivery challenges
- Creative problem‑solving ability in an emerging technology company
