Overview
Alignment Health is a senior health care provider dedicated to the chronically ill and frail. The Community Outreach Representative will generate local brand awareness and drive leads and sales through grassroots efforts across the designated market.
Responsibilities- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly qualified lead goals.
- Help local market achieve monthly sales goals; work with direct sales teams in lead development and public‐facing presentations (advertised or non‑advertised).
- Cultivate new and maintain existing relationships with key senior and community influencers that culminate in lead‑generating events/activities and increase name awareness for Alignment and its products.
- Set up and attend monthly events and activities through in‑person visits, telephone contact and email; events include health fairs, presentations, seminars at senior centers, food banks, churches, senior living facilities and other community organizations.
- Distribute approved marketing and event materials; work with Corporate Marketing and Compliance Departments on approval, development and production of advertising materials and invitations for events.
- Locate, plan, set up, attend and present at quarterly New Member Orientations and year‑round education events (as needed in non‑virtual format) in the local community.
- Educate the community on Alignment and its benefits, services, contracted providers and medical groups (IPAs) available to prospects.
- Promote and increase name awareness and brand identity for Alignment and its products.
- Provide a monthly calendar of planned activities and ensure all scheduled events are filed.
- Maintain a weekly summary of activity and submit reports on a weekly basis.
- Perform special projects as assigned to help drive leads for the company.
- Conduct and lead advertised sales meetings in the territory.
- Call on local doctor offices to educate on Alignment products and distribute flyers to generate referrals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in grassroots marketing at local community events. Preferred 5+ years in healthcare marketing, preferably Medicare/Medi‑Cal Managed Care.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); excellent written and oral communication; ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with diverse stakeholders; basic mathematical calculation and statistical report analysis; advanced reasoning and problem‑solving; strong organization and time‑management.
Licensure: Valid state driver’s license, car insurance, and registration. State insurance license required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Other Requirements: 80%+ travel by car within assigned market; plane travel as needed; reliable transportation; extended work hours as required; fully vaccinated; remote work permissible on approval.
Pay Range: $49,486.00 – $74,228.00 (may vary based on location, education, experience, responsibilities).
