Social Media Account Director

* This is a primarily remote role with occasional client site visits in Massachusetts. Applicants must be based in Massachusetts.*

Metter Media is a full-service social media agency dedicated to working hand-in-hand with clients to grow their followings, gain new leads, and attract new customers through thoughtful and authentic social strategy and content.

We are looking for an experienced social media strategist with 3+ years of agency or client-facing social media experience to join our team. You'll be responsible for leading strategy and managing the success of a portfolio of 8–10 clients, primarily in the multifamily real estate industry, along with a variety of other professional service businesses.

Responsibilities include social strategy, content planning and copywriting, client communication, project management, reporting, influencer coordination, and paid social support when needed.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients while building strong, long-term relationships and client satisfaction
• Proactively recommend new content ideas, platform features, and campaign strategies based on evolving social media trends
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor for each client
• Lead recurring strategy calls and proactively identify opportunities to help clients achieve their business goals through social media
• Develop monthly content calendars and write on-brand copy aligned with each client's goals
• Collaborate with the Metter Media Creative Team by assigning design requests and providing creative direction
• Prepare and present social media reports, along with strategic recommendations
• Run monthly boosts for clients as needed
• Participate in on-site content shoots as needed

• Have 3+ years of agency or client-facing social media experience managing multiple brands across different industries
• Demonstrate experience developing social media strategies that drive business goals
• Be extremely organized and excel at project and time management
• Enjoy building and maintaining client relationships, and communicating with clients
• Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats, and proactively translate those insights into creative, strategic recommendations for clients.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and excited to learn in a fast-paced agency environment
• Possess excellent writing, editing, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Be an active consumer of social media with a strong understanding of internet culture and digital trends

This is a full-time position on a dynamic team in an ever-changing industry. We offer a flexible, primarily remote work environment, with occasional site visits for Massachusetts-based clients.
