Professional Sports Partners is a sports marketing agency based in Houston, Texas, specializing in providing brands and events with innovative and creative marketing strategy and services to help them tell their story through sports and entertainment. Our work includes managing marketing for major events like the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee and the NCAA Men’s Finals Four, as well as overseeing sports partnerships for national brands like the American Cancer Society, 76®, Mattress Firm, and many others.
Scopeand Position Objective
This Brand Leadership Intern will be responsible for supporting the agency's efforts on client workon multiple accounts, as well as minor day-to-day needs for the agency as a whole. This position is currently for the Summer (May
- August) though there may be flexibility on extending this internship position into the Fall with the right individual and circumstances.
The person in this role must be capable of effectively supporting our Brand Leadership team to deliver client needs in order to make relevant and impactful recommendations.
Position Duties and Accountabilities- Support Brand Leadership team in coordination of account deliverables with in-house resources
- Support Brand Leadership team with partner communication as directed
- Support agency with industry research as assigned
- Participation in internal agency meetings, events, etc.
- Assist with and activate at local internal and client events
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work at least 15-20 hours per week from August
- December with at least half in-office - Located in Houston, TX or surrounding area (though open to remote for the right candidate)
- Access to reliable computer/laptop with internet access and Microsoft Office suite
- At least two years of college degree completed
- Internship and/or work experience preferred
- Sports knowledge is a plus
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous background in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
