Marketing Strategist​/Content Creator

Business Furniture + Co. is looking for a creative, digitally-minded storyteller who thrives on ideas, energy and bringing brands to life.

This role blends strategy and execution. You will develop ideas, create content and shape how the Business Furniture brand shows up across digital platforms, events, and client experiences. One day you might be filming a short‑form video at a project installation. The next, you are helping host an event for architects and designers, capturing behind‑the‑scenes content, or brainstorming the next idea to keep our brand fresh and relevant.

• Own and execute a digital‑first content strategy focused on awareness and engagement
• Create content across platforms (social, website, campaigns, email)
• Develop short‑form video (Linked In, Instagram, and emerging platforms)
• Capture photos and video from projects, installations, events, and team moments
• Keep our website fresh, relevant and engaging
• Stay current on trends, tools, and new ways to connect with audiences

• Capture and share client stories through interviews, case studies, and project highlights
• Showcase our expertise, thought leadership, and partnerships
• Bring a clear point of view to how we show up in the workplace industry
• Help evolve and elevate our brand voice across channels

• Support and coordinate events for clients, architects/designers (A&D), and industry partners
• Partner with vendors, venues, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality experiences
• Assist with invitations, logistics, communications, and event‑day execution
• Be present at events—hosting, engaging clients, and representing the brand
• Capture content to extend engagement beyond the event
• Contribute ideas that help Business Furniture stand out

• Partner with VP of Marketing, VP of Design, and Business Development teams
• Create content and tools that support relationship‑building and client conversations
• Translate insights into clear, compelling messaging
• Support change management efforts by helping bring workplace transformations to life
• Participate in tours, client experiences, and engagements as a brand ambassador

• Strong storytelling instincts—you know how to spot and shape a great story
• 2–4+ years of experience in marketing, content, communications, events, or a related field
• Experience creating across formats (video, social, web, presentations)
• Comfort using tools like Canva, PowerPoint, and social media platforms
• Familiarity with (or curiosity about) AI tools
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• A creator mindset—curious, proactive, and idea‑driven
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Confidence working across teams and engaging with clients
• Partner with VP of Marketing, VP of Design, and Business Development teams
• Create content and tools that support relationship‑building and client conversations
• Translate insights into clear, compelling messaging
• Support change management efforts by helping bring workplace transformations to life
• Participate in tours, client experiences, and engagements as a brand ambassador

• Event planning or vendor coordination experience
• Photography or video editing skills
• Experience with website content management
• Experience using AI tools in marketing workflows

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must live in Central Indiana and able to work in person Monday through Friday from Noblesville HQ. We do have a hybrid work environment with opportunity to work from home after training period, but we are only considering candidates who live in the Indianapolis/Noblesville area.
