The Rise of Women’s Football is a fast‑growing platform dedicated to amplifying the women’s game globally. We spotlight players, clubs, competitions, and stories that deserve more attention. Our mission: grow the visibility, engagement, and appreciation of women’s football across all audiences—fans, players, media, business and the next generation.

The Role

We are looking for a creative, football‑obsessed Social Media Intern to join our team. If you’re passionate about women’s football, digital storytelling, and building online communities, this is the perfect opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in sports media.

As our Social Media Intern, you will support content creation, community engagement, and growth strategies across all platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and Linked In).

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Planning

  • Brainstorm, script, and create engaging posts, reels, and stories
  • Support video editing, graphics, and trending social formats
  • Assist with weekly content planning and publishing

Social Media Management

  • Help schedule posts and monitor engagement across channels
  • Identify emerging trends in women’s football and social media
  • Support live coverage of key matches, tournaments, and breaking news

Community Engagement

  • Interact with followers, respond to messages, and help moderate discussions
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen community engagement and retention

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong passion for women’s football and storytelling
  • Creative thinker with a good eye for social content and trends
  • Excellent written communication skills (English; extra languages a plus)
  • Basic experience with social media tools (e.g., Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe, etc.)
  • Proactive, organised, and willing to learn
  • Bonus:
Experience with video editing, journalism, or sports media

What You’ll Gain

  • Real‑world experience with a sports media brand
  • A network within the women’s football community
  • Portfolio content to use for future opportunities
  • Opportunity to pitch ideas + lead your own content series
