Freelance Content Writer - Part Time

Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Freelance Content Writer to support its growing content marketing team. This role is ideal for a writer who thrives on creating strategic, long-form content that educates, engages, and drives results. You will collaborate with internal marketing and content teams to develop high-quality assets across multiple channels while leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize performance.

This is not a client-facing role
, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys focusing on content creation and collaborating behind the scenes.

Location: Remote

Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week

Duration: Contract – Immediate Start

Pay: Up to $32/hr

• Develop original, high-quality content across a variety of formats, including:
  • Blog articles
  • E-books
  • Whitepapers
  • Email campaigns
  • Landing pages
  • Sales collateral
  • Video scripts
  • Infographics
• Utilize AI tools to improve content development, personalization, and workflow efficiency.
• Conduct SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), keyword, and competitive research to inform content strategy and maximize visibility.
• Optimize content using SEO and AEO best practices.
• Partner closely with internal marketing and client services teams to support content initiatives (this position is not client-facing
  ).
• Maintain consistent communication and responsiveness throughout the contract assignment.

• 2+ years of professional content writing experience.
• Demonstrated experience producing long-form content such as e-books, whitepapers, case studies, guides, or similar marketing assets.
• Experience writing beyond blogs, social media posts, and advertising copy.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-powered writing and content tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly responsive, dependable, and collaborative in a remote work setting.

• Experience writing for B2B organizations or marketing agencies.
• Familiarity with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and modern content marketing strategies.
• Experience creating content that supports demand generation and sales enablement initiatives.
