Position OverviewSisters in Christ is seeking passionate, creative, and purpose-driven volunteers to serve on its Marketing & Public Relations Committee. Committee members will help communicate the organization’s mission, strengthen community engagement, promote programs and events, and expand the organization’s reach through compelling content and strategic outreach.
This is an opportunity to use your professional skills, creativity, and voice to support faith-centered initiatives that encourage, uplift, and transform lives.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommittee members may contribute in one or more of the following areas:
- Develop and execute marketing and public relations campaigns.
- Create engaging content for social media, email, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Design flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and other branded materials.
- Manage or support the organization’s social media platforms and content calendar.
- Write captions, press releases, announcements, articles, and community communications.
- Promote organizational programs, events, prayer initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
- Build relationships with community organizations, media outlets, churches, and potential partners.
- Assist with branding and storytelling to ensure consistent, meaningful messaging.
- Track campaign performance, engagement, reach, and other marketing results.
- Participate in committee meetings, planning sessions, and collaborative projects.
- Serve as a positive ambassador for the organization and its mission.

- Social media management
- Graphic design
- Content creation and copywriting
- Public relations and media outreach
- Branding and storytelling
- Photography or video production
- Website content management
- Marketing analytics
Professional marketing experience is valued but not required. Applicants should be willing to contribute their talents, collaborate with others, and learn as part of a mission-driven team.
