Crutchfield is seeking a Social Media Producer, Video Specialist to create engaging social media and video content. This position is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing high‑quality social media and video content tailored for various platforms and the Crutchfield website. The Social Media Producer, Video Specialist will also analyze content performance and perform community management tasks.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated success in social media content production and advertising for a business, preferably an online retailer. The candidate can create compelling written, photo, and video assets and has a deep understanding of social media platforms and audience creation. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment, take pride in developing, implementing, and evaluating new ideas, and is comfortable appearing on camera as talent in videos.

A passion for consumer electronics and related technology is a plus.

• Develop and execute creative social media concepts that resonate with our target audiences.
• Create, shoot, and edit video, photo, and written content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and You Tube, and for the Crutchfield website.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align content with marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform future content strategies.
• Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices to keep content relevant and engaging.
• Take responsibility for community management of Crutchfield’s social media channels.
• Create and maintain social media advertisements and audiences.

• Knowledge of social media platforms and their posting options and audience‑building capabilities.
• Current awareness of the latest social media trends, third‑party posting platforms, and analytics, especially for business communication.
• Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well on a team in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in video production, editing, and social media post/advert creation with a strong portfolio showcasing prior work.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar.

• Knowledge or interest in consumer electronics and technology.
• Proven success with social media marketing for a business, ideally a retail organization.
• Ability to act as on‑camera talent in video content.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with 3 days onsite each week and the remaining days remote. Candidates should be able to commute to our office regularly and collaborate in person with team members. Remote work must be performed within the Commonwealth of Virginia. We do not offer sponsorship for this position.

This full‑time position offers an hourly rate of $24.03–$28.85, depending on skills and experience, along with an incentive program.
