Position OverviewThe Google Ads Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution, coordination, and delivery of Google Ads campaigns across the organization.
This role ensures that campaigns are properly planned, implemented, tracked, and optimized by coordinating between marketing, content, and analytics efforts.
Operating at the intersection of project management, paid media execution, and performance tracking
, this role is critical to ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, aligned with strategy, and continuously improving.
- Coordinate Google Ads campaign timelines and deliverables
- Align campaign objectives with organizational priorities
- Ensure readiness before campaign launch
- Track campaign tasks, deadlines, and milestones
- Manage workflows across:
- Ad creation
- Keyword research
- Campaign setup
- Ensure all components are completed on time
- Work with:
- Google Ads Manager (execution)
- Marketing team (content and messaging)
- Analytics/reporting roles
- Ensure alignment across all campaign elements
- Oversee campaign setup and launch processes
- Ensure campaigns are implemented correctly
- Monitor adherence to strategy
- Track campaign performance metrics
- Ensure visibility into:
- Campaign status
- Results
- Support reporting processes
- Identify underperforming campaigns
- Coordinate optimization efforts
- Ensure updates and improvements are implemented
- Track budget allocation across campaigns
- Ensure efficient use of resources
- Support budget planning with marketing leadership
- Ensure all campaign deliverables are completed on time
- Identify risks or delays early
- Maintain accountability across teams
- Build structured workflows for campaign execution
- Standardize campaign management processes
- Improve efficiency and scalability
- Maintain documentation for:
- Campaign plans
- Processes
- Performance summaries
- Ensure consistency across reporting
- Address issues impacting campaign delivery
- Coordinate solutions across teams
- Maintain continuity of execution
- Improve campaign workflows and processes
- Strengthen coordination across teams
- Enhance overall campaign performance over time
- Estimated Commitment: 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- Participation in marketing and campaign meetings required
- Fully remote
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Project management
- Marketing coordination
- Paid media or campaign management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience managing multiple workflows or campaigns
- Experience with:
- Google Ads or paid media environments
- Marketing project management tools
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
- Experience in remote teams
- Manages timelines, tasks, and deliverables
- Ensures execution across teams
- Understands campaign structure and flow
