Solana Beach, CA (San Diego office), 4‑day work‑from‑home + 1‑day onsite schedule. Applicants must be based in the metro San Diego, CA area.

RKPR is a public‑relations department within FINN Partners specializing in consumer products and services, working with national brands across food & beverage, health & wellness, consumer technology, home appliances, and lifestyle sectors.

• Execute public‑relations campaigns achieving client goals and driving business results.
• Work with PR leadership to manage multiple concurrent accounts and programs, including planning, media strategy/pitching, event management, social media, analyst relations, content writing/editing, research, and account administration.
• Participate in the development and execution of creative, strategic PR programs and campaigns, including budget and KPI tracking; contribute innovative pitch ideas and event concepts.
• Draft client‑ready documents: pitches, bylined articles, blogs, bios, press materials, meeting reports, and other communications.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, provide direction, counsel, and problem‑solving solutions.
• Execute media and influencer strategy for clients.
• Maintain high‑level client, media, and influencer relationships; secure consistent media coverage with strong pitching skills and media list development.
• Stay current on clients’ industries and media landscape; develop new media and influencer contacts across multi‑channels.
• Participate in thought‑leadership, content creation, and social media initiatives.
• Research data for new business presentations and contribute to RFP development.
• Lead and develop PR account team members as assigned.

• 4–5 years of public‑relations agency experience executing communications programs and campaigns for consumer‑industry clients.
• Bachelor’s degree required (PR, Communications, Marketing preferred).
• Proven history of driving results through earned, owned, and shared media channels.
• Experience with earned‑media relations and successful programs with top‑tier national and trade outlets; proven history of media placements and contacts.
• Ability to craft compelling messages that drive business goals and elevate client programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and budget parameters; strong communication, project‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent writing and editing skills (AP style); generate grammatically sound, client‑ready communication as a skilled writer and editor.
• Big‑picture thinking, ability to course‑correct and pivot to achieve effective action.
• Advises and drives results that exceed client expectations; provides counsel even when uncomfortable.

Anticipated Salary: $75K – $80K, commensurate with experience and workplace.
