Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers. Our customers range from AI researchers to enterprises and hyperscalers. Lambda's mission is to make compute as ubiquitous as electricity and give everyone the power of superintelligence. One person, one GPU.
If you'd like to build the world's best AI cloud, join us.
* Note:
This position requires presence in our San Francisco or San Jose office location 4 days per week;
Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.
As the VP of Product Marketing at Lambda, you build the programs that make Lambda the most credible name among AI cloud providers. You’ll define how Lambda’s products and infrastructure are positioned, launched, and understood. You will build the function that shapes how buyers, influencers, and investors understand the most important infrastructure buildout of our lifetime.
As the VP of Product Marketing at Lambda, you will:
Lead and develop the PMM team: Build the Product Marketing vision and assemble a team of deeply technical marketers. Create the conditions for rigorous thinking, sharp execution, and editorial quality.
Drive customer stories: Continuously grow Lambda’s pool of customer stories. Work with customers, sales, and content to tell stories that illustrate Lambda’s key selling points and real-world capabilities, as well as our customers’ breakthroughs.
Build technical credibility: Drive the production of the benchmarks, white papers, performance analyses, reliability reports, and more that build Lambda’s credibility in the market. Develop detailed messaging, positioning, and packaging by product.
Market data centers and infrastructure: Build the assets that help close and operationalize multi-billion-dollar deals.
Own product positioning and messaging: Develop and maintain differentiated positioning for Lambda’s full portfolio, from on-demand GPU instances to AI factories, that resonates with the corresponding ICPs.
Drive go-to-market strategy: Partner with product, engineering, growth, and sales leadership to plan and execute product launches end-to-end. Define the audience, message, channel mix, and success metrics.
Build the competitive intelligence program: Establish a systematic view of the cloud AI landscape. Translate that intelligence into actionable guidance.
Measure what matters: Define PMM KPIs across pipeline influence, win rates, share of voice, and product adoption. Use data to make the program smarter over time and to grow marketing’s contribution to revenue.
You’ve built product marketing programs at a GPU cloud, a specialized infrastructure company, an AI company, or a hyperscaler’s AI infrastructure division. You understand the difference between marketing to an ML engineer and marketing to an enterprise infrastructure buyer, and you know how to make both audiences believe. You’re ready to lead a team, run multiple interconnected programs at once, and influence around you to get the materials to make Lambda the most credible voice among AI cloud providers.
You know this market: You’ve spent meaningful time in GPU cloud, data center, or AI infrastructure. You understand why customers choose one provider over another, what makes a benchmark credible, and how data center capacity is bought and sold. You don’t need a primer on the landscape.
You’re a builder: You’ve stood up or significantly grown a PMM function before. You know how to build a team, identify what’s missing, and hire to close the gaps. You’ve hired, mentored, and grown product marketing professionals before. You give feedback that sticks, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and build cultures where people do their best work.
You think in programs, not projects: You don’t just ship individual pieces. You design repeatable systems in support of a vision: a cadence of customer stories, a pipeline of credibility assets, a playbook for data center enablement, that compound over time.
You balance strategy with execution: You know cloud infrastructure in depth. You can write a sharp positioning brief and then sit down with a TPMM to help them get a case study…
