Student Assistant-Oscas (WORK STUDY ONLY

The Office of Student Career Advancement and Success (OSCAS) seeks a talented, energetic, and reliable student for a communication-oriented positionbeginning Fall 2026. This is anon-campus, part-time job opportunity.

• Create marketing materials for OSCAS events and services
• Promote and market events using multiple outlets including Handshake, social media,and the university website
• Assist career development service committee (CDSC) staff with events/programs
• Write articles for website material, newsletter content, or other uses
• Enter job/internship postings into online database for all students to browse
• Assists with the collection ofsurveys, opinion polls or questionnaire data
• Other duties as assigned

• Currently enrolled UM-Flint student
• Work-Study Awarded
• Ableto work both independently and with a team
• Self-Motivated

Student(s) hired can expect to expand their professional skill set and network. Outcome skills include:

• Increase in networking capacity
• Strong understanding of teamwork
• Development of independent project management skills
• Knowledge of campus and community resources and partners

Onsite
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan
