Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Public Relations Account Manager role based in Scottsdale, AZ, with flexibility to work from home part of the week. The Public Relations Account Manager will lead day-to-day client accounts, including planning and executing PR campaigns, managing timelines, and coordinating deliverables. Responsibilities include drafting and distributing press materials, securing media coverage, managing media lists, and nurturing relationships with journalists, influencers, and partners.

The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to develop strategy, support branding initiatives, and coordinate events and activations. The Public Relations Account Manager will regularly report results to clients, monitor industry trends, and proactively identify new opportunities to enhance visibility and brand reputation.

• Strong public relations and media relations skills, with experience securing coverage and managing press opportunities.
• Proven account management experience, including client communication, project coordination, and campaign execution.
• Ability to write clear, compelling press releases and other media-facing content tailored to target audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with PR tools and platforms (e.g., media databases, monitoring tools, social media) is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in events, branding, or integrated marketing campaigns is a plus.
