Junior Link Builder

Overview

Fox Pest Control is seeking a junior-level Link Builder with a passion for entrepreneurship and a self-employed mentality. Our ideal candidate will be interested in search engine optimization, analytics, reporting, link building, and keyword research. Ongoing training and mentorship will be provided. A desire to learn and excellent communication skills area must! As a Link Builder, you willbe responsible for growing our website'sauthority by earning high-quality backlinks from relevant organizations and websites.

You will research potential opportunities, evaluate each prospect for SEO value and brand alignment, communicate with organizations toestablishpartnerships, and secure links that strengthen our online presence, improve search rankings, and support lead generation efforts. You will also manage existing backlink partnerships by tracking renewal timelines, coordinating renewals with partner organizations, and ensuring valuable linksremainactive and continue to support our long-term SEO strategy.

Essential Functions

• Link Prospecting & Placement - Assist in organization and management of link building, including research, phone/email outreach, acquisition, tracking, and follow up

• Review, renew, and manageprior link placements

• Facilitate communication betweenourlocal branches

• Assist with variousone-off Internet Marketing projects

Experience/Education

• Previouslink building experience a plus

• Ability to multi-task with solid time management skills

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

• Enthusiasm about marketing and the internal drive to continuously learnin order tokeep up with the latest trends

• Ability to measure the effectiveness of strategy and make decisions based on data

• Exceptional critical thinking and strategic thinking skills

• Extremely organized and great at managing to deadlines

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• Full-time position

• Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm

• Hybrid schedule– two in-office days, three work from home days

Work Environment

• Conventional indoor office environment

• Seated around other team members

• Long periodsof sitting, typing, and looking/using a computer

• Minimal bending,lifting and/or driving
