The Account Executive role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Hingham, MA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves managing day-to-day client communications, supporting the development and execution of PR campaigns, and coordinating internal and external resources to meet client objectives. The Account Executive will draft and refine pitches and additional content and seed stories to targeted media outlets, with a gold of maintaining ongoing media coverage.
Responsibilities include monitoring client and industry news, preparing status reports and performance summaries, and contributing ideas for creative campaign concepts and integrated communications strategies. The role also requires close collaboration with team members to ensure timelines are met and deliverables are high quality and on brand.
- Strong public relations and media relations skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists and outlets.
- Ability to develop and write clear, compelling content tailored to different audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including concise client communication and persuasive messaging.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools, basic reporting, and understanding of earned, owned, and shared media.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines in a part-time schedule.
- Collaborative mindset, comfort working in a hybrid setting, and openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Prior agency or in-house PR of 2-4 years required.
