This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Marketing Operations based in the United States.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to build and scale the operational foundation behind a global marketing organization.
You will oversee marketing systems, processes, data infrastructure, and automation strategies that drive business growth.
The position combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, enabling efficient campaign delivery and measurable pipeline impact.
You will partner closely with marketing, sales, technology, and business teams to improve operational excellence.
This role is ideal for a data-driven marketing operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and complex ecosystems.
You will play a key part in creating scalable frameworks, improving efficiency, and accelerating marketing performance through technology and innovation.

Accountabilities:

As the Director of Marketing Operations, you will lead the systems, processes, and operational strategies that enable marketing teams to execute effectively and drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Own and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem, ensuring platforms, integrations, and workflows are scalable and aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead marketing systems administration, improvements, and governance across multiple platforms.
  • Design and manage end-to-end lead lifecycle processes, including lead capture, routing, scoring, attribution, and marketing-to-sales handoffs.
  • Establish scalable partner lead-sharing processes and ensure accurate funnel management.
  • Oversee marketing automation operations, including email campaigns, nurture programs, segmentation, tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytics capabilities to provide visibility into pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and ROI.
  • Deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives, including system migrations, integrations, reporting enhancements, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales, partner teams, external vendors, and marketing stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing automation, AI capabilities, and emerging technologies to increase efficiency and execution speed.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing operations leader with strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to build scalable systems in high-growth environments.

  • 8-12+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Systems, or related functions.
  • Previous experience leading and developing marketing operations or marketing technology teams.
  • Deep expertise with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Hub Spot, Salesforce, and related technologies.
  • Proven experience building marketing dashboards, reporting structures, and attribution models.
  • Strong understanding of lead management, lifecycle marketing, funnel optimization, and marketing-to-sales processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional technical projects from strategy through execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams, partners, external vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and drive execution in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and operational concepts into clear business outcomes.
