Senior Creative Strategist

Sol Comms, an award-winning integrated communications agency for startups and scale-ups at the intersection of corporate and consumer communications, is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist
. In this role, you'll serve as a senior creative voice and cultural partner across accounts, own campaign concepts, shape brand narratives, and help clients show up meaningfully in culture. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients alike, mentoring junior talent while driving the quality and ambition of the work.

• Lead the development of culture-first campaign concepts across social, experiential, and integrated formats from brief to execution.
• Anticipate client needs and identify opportunities for strategic creative moments, from always-on content to larger-scale activations.
• Guide junior team members through the ideation of big-picture ideas, offering insight into what makes a concept travel.
• Actively present big ideas to clients; translate strategy and cultural insight into clear, compelling narratives.
• Balance speed with strategy to help brands participate in cultural moments with authenticity and creative integrity.
• Write across formats (taglines, scripts, manifestos, captions, pitch decks, and content calendars) with a voice that adapts to each brand and always lands.
• Oversee copy across integrated campaigns, real-time reactive moments, scripted video series, and digital touchpoints.
• Build and evolve brand voice systems for clients, including tone-of-voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and social playbooks.
• Approve creative materials and ensure all output feels native, timely, and on-brand.
• Directly support and mentor junior creatives from feedback on copy to guidance on creative thinking and professional growth.
• Instill confidence in team members; empower them to bring stronger, more ambitious work to every project.
• Serve as a sounding board for junior talent; help improve their workflows, sharpen their instincts, and raise their craft.

• 4 - 6+ years in creative roles with a strong foundation in copywriting, campaign concepts, and cultural strategy ideally in an agency environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating earned-first thinking: ideas that drove real cultural traction, writing that landed, campaigns that scaled.
• Deep platform fluency (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, X, and emerging channels) with an instinct for what works natively on each.
• Experience building or contributing to brand voice systems, messaging frameworks, or tone-of-voice guides.
• Strong client presence: you can read a room, present a vision, and guide a conversation toward a decision.
• Collaborative working style where you partner fluidly with strategy, design, social, and production teams.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior creatives in a professional setting.
