Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, visually discerning Junior Graphic Designer / Communications & Brand Image Assistant to support our team across design, content, and digital channels. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, with strong foundational technical skills, refined aesthetic instincts, and a luxury-oriented sensibility. This person will help manage and adapt visual assets, support creative production, assist with content execution across digital channels, and help maintain brand integrity across all communications touchpoints.

Given the growth of our digital initiatives and communications infrastructure, we anticipate this role evolving into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and resize imagery for web, email, and social channels
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain digital assets across internal systems
  • Apply logos, watermarks, and graphic elements in line with brand standards
  • Assist with light retouching and image cleanup
  • Ensure consistency in color, cropping, and formatting
  • Maintain file naming conventions, version control, and archives
  • Assist with social media execution (e.g. Pinterest posting, paid ad support, community engagement) and possible analytics reporting
  • Support website content updates and occasional marketing email drafting
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver assets on time
  • Support day-to-day creative and production needs
  • Assist with capturing and creating short-form video content within the studio
  • Support organization and coordination of e-commerce shoots and related production needs
  • Work within established digital templates and communication systems to support ongoing content execution
Qualifications
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop (InDesign and Illustrator a plus)
  • A strong eye for composition, typography, and visual balance
  • Ability to execute edits with a refined, luxury sensibility
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Strong aesthetic judgment and visual instincts are extremely important
  • Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or related field preferred, unless candidate has equivalent relevant work experience
Nice to Have
  • Basic copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with luxury fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands
  • Experience with digital asset management systems
  • Basic video editing or content capture experience
Schedule & Work Environment

Initially part-time with flexibility based on workload and project needs, though we anticipate the role evolving into a full-time position as digital production and communications needs expand. This position is primarily on-site, with remote work options available as approved.

Ideal Candidate

A detail-oriented, proactive team player who combines technical know-how with strong visual instincts and refined taste levels. You are eager to learn, adaptable, highly organized, and excited to support a collaborative creative environment. We value aesthetic judgment, talent, and potential just as highly as prior experience.

Pay

$45/hr, commensurate with experience. Initial average of approximately 15–20 hours per week, with strong potential for expanded responsibilities and hours as the role develops.
